Symposium On Airfield Infrastructure Of Airports

C.Tech Nova and Saint Gobain Adfors are sponsors to the 1st Symposium on Airfield Infrastructure of Airports 2017 held from 2 - 3 Oct in Singapore, organised by Singapore Aviation Academy.

We exhibited Glasgrid the Asphalt Pavement Reinforcement Systems and presented to visitors our projects reference in Changi Airport for air side and land.

Ms Nathalie from Adfors flew in from France for this event. We would like to thank her for her presence and support in this business.

Self Adhesive Fiberglass Asphalt Reinforcement for Milled Surfaces - GlasGrid CGL


GlasGrid® CGL is a composite material consisting of a high-tensile fiberglass grid bonded to an open lightweight nonwoven polyester geotextile (~35g/m²). The grid has a high mesh stiffness due to the consistent impregnation of each glass filament with Adfors patented polymer coating in order to reach an effective bonding between asphalt layers. The lightweight geotextile works as a bonding support and offers a high asphalt retention, which ensures a quick and efficient installation.

Extend your pavement life by up to 300% with GlasGrid Reinforcement products.  GlasGrid can be used as full lane pavement reinforcement or isolated crack repair reinforcement.  The use of GlasGrid can also reduce maintenance costs by helping to prevent the advancement of reflective cracking. GlasGrid works by reinforcing asphalt concrete overlays in pavement construction.
